If you hadn’t taken interest in
Football like I did yesterday, then you definitely missed out . There was an
extra bounce to everybody’s step this morning as the country’s National team,
SUPER EAGLES, won the trophy of the AFCON 2013.
It was such a break through after
19 years of struggling for the cup after the last win at 1994. Acting as a united
team in their battle against Burkina Faso, Sunday Mba dropped in the winning
goal, that made them top the game with a 1:0 win. And this happens to be their 3rd
AFCON cup (1980,1994 & 2013).
This is a sure sign that more
beautiful things are bound to happen in Nigeria in the year 2013. UP! NIGERIA!
